Why is it important to be grateful? And how can I show it?

Kyrra E.
I think it grounds you in a perspective of abundance, reminding you of all the things you HAVE, of all that IS going well, etc. It’s easy to be caught up in the swirl of our shoulds, our to do lists, our daily gripes and mistakes and complaints-gratitude practice reminds you of the tiny things that bring you joy, of the small building blocks of your world that you have created for yourself in a GOOD way (not in a toxic positivity way) and helps you recenter. Even though something hard, tough, BAD maybe happening in your life, there are also always things that are good too. A gratitude practice helps you look for, identify and name those things, so that even amidst bad, you can hold onto what’s also good in your life.
