Morgan Y.
This was me until I was about 24 years old. I started with a glass of water as soon as I could in the morning. After 20-30 minutes I felt like my stomach was ready to eat. Yogurt specifically can be tough to eat in the morning due to the heaviness of dairy. You could try sautéing tempeh with light butter, then add eggs and spinach. I season with garlic salt. It’s not for everyone, but for me I personally feel more ready for the day with a meal based on nuts/seeds/beans, protein, and veggies. Find what speaks to your body. Maybe it’s a sourdough bagel with lox and pickle onions. Maybe it’s a small amount of yogurt but a lot of granola, berries and seeds? Experimenting with food can be fun or dull depending on the person. For me, it became fun only after I found what finally made me feel energized and not so sluggish.
