I have trouble feeling grateful for my body. I can find gratitude for almost anything else, but for some reason I struggle to be grateful for this body and so I don’t treat it very well at times. I’d like to do better. Any suggestions would be welcomed and I’d be grateful for.

Maybe you don’t need to be grateful for the body you have at the moment. I do have to mention that I’ll be answering this as a man. Some things that are part of you is hard to accept. You can work on those. If you don’t like your weight, you can add or lose a few pounds. If you don’t like the way your belly looks, you can always focus for half a year in the gym and see improvement. Imagine what a great before and after picture that would be!
I also recommend to write a list of at least 50 reasons why you’re grateful for this body. Here, I’ll start for you:”I am grateful for this body because it keeps me healthy and fights infections. I am grateful for this body, because it was able to go through all the adventures I lived through so far. I am grateful for it for being able to withstand all the pressures, be it physical or emotional. I am grateful for my mind. I am grateful how my mind operates the rest of the body and my movements.
I think you get hang of it. Now wirte 50 reasons why you’re grateful for this body. Put that list somewhere you can see and read it at least once a day for 2 weeks. Good luck!
