I feel like i am recycling the same old things to feel grateful for. How can i inspire myself to find new things to feel grateful for?

Cecilia N.
We usually base our gratitude on the happy things that happen to us daily on or our daily good actions and good habits.
Instead, we can think about the simplest things that life give us as gifts to be grateful for: the air we breath, the smile of a person even when we don’t know her, a slow walk on a busy week.

Keep gratitude in mind during the day, look for things. Drill down to very small specific things you are grateful for. Rather than I’m grateful for my family…
Try I’m grateful for ‘Bob’ today, for helping me put away the washing, I’m grateful for a hug from George, to Susan for not complaining and wearing the blue dress to school today.
Rather than I’m grateful for my home… for my comfy bed, watching a particularly good show on TV last night that really had me engrossed, for the front window that let’s the afternoon sun in so well.
I am trying to do a month of gratitude with no double ups. It makes me really think.
