I keep my phone on silent. I play music that isn’t too distracting but I wear headphones to block outside noise. I normally set a target for what to accomplish so I don’t get distracted perusing. I normally have my things at hand so I don’t waste time looking for them.

First, just awareness. I inhale deeply then allow myself observe the urge to open TikTok or eat something or organize something then let the urge pass. Then I exhale and remember to stay. Stay through the boredom Afterwards, I set an alarm for 5 minutes to keep going then if I still have momentum after that, I keep going. If I still feel the urge to do something else, I allow myself to. But I also set an alarm so that I can give myself time to return to whatever task is high priority.

Outside distractions sometimes are hard to avoid, I set a goal during my time and when I realize I’m getting off focus of my goal I stop when I’m doing and get right back into it.

I use headphones or loop earbuds. I have to keep music low, so that I’m not scared by people walking up to me, but I tend to think through the task at hand, talking myself through it in my head to try and keep my attention on what I should be doing whilst numbing the environmental noise with the headphones or earbuds.
