I usually set up my space and talk to myself aloud about what happened today and yesterday give myself a little motivation and then start studying but before that I usually finish up all my task like drinking water a little stretch and food and then just start

My routine over the weeks has been keeping me in track especially in habit building. I listen to music within my day and even study with it, I study the Bible and get magical insights from it, my journey this far has been beautiful and I’m glad to say I have grown and it wasn’t by my strength but because Christ is in the picture

I usually have a 30 minutes prep time. Here I turn on my diffuser, start an ambience music, ready my things – water, pens, book and notebook. Then I open my habit tracker, i do the simple tasks like checking my email, checking announcements. I do this to see if there are instructions or updates on the tasks I’m doing. I check of most of these quick tasks before deep work. I use a pomodoro app to ensure I get a rest in between small work units.

No, I do not. I focus very well in silence. So once my deep work begins, that is it. I stop when I am tired. The only prep beforehand is that I have the materials needed.

Yes I do. I just recently started my new job as a Junior Graphic Artist in an art gallery. I focus on doing task at a time to avoid work overload because I am avoiding the feeling of overwhelmed and stress, I also loved playing a relaxing background music to REALLY focus on the task that was given to me, and just stay organized. I do the same routines I usually do during my internship last year. I simply stayed organized, focus on one task first before doing the others to avoid overwhelmness, and play a relaxing background/ambient music to decrease my anxiety and stress while I’m working. That is all. Thank you. 😊😊

Yes, before I do deep-work I like to meditate and stretch to help my focus. I also like to do it at a specific time which helps. When I start, I write down what my goals are and what I’d like to get done. I also play classical music as I focus.

Not yet. I’m still trying things to see what fits best with my deep work. I’ve tried getting a glass of water, forgot to drink it. I tried making a tea, forgot it on the counter. I tried writing down the things I wanted to accomplish, but I wrote down too many things and I wasn’t accurate on the timing so I got overwhelmed. And I figured out changing my clothes doesn’t work. The only thing that has worked more often is sitting in a different space than my “relax” space and open the laptop.
