Where in your home do you exercise?
Finding a suitable space in your home for exercise is crucial for establishing a consistent routine. Look for an area that is free from distractions and has enough room for your movements. It could be a corner of your living room, a spare bedroom, or even outdoors if weather permits. The key is to create a dedicated space that encourages you to engage in your daily exercise rituals. This will help you build lasting healthy habits and maintain motivation towards achieving your fitness goals.
Most days I only have time for short workouts (5-30 minutes). It’s easiest to exercise in my bedroom right after I wake or right before bed. I have a small set of dumbells and stretch-bands in sight and easily accessible to encourage me, but sometimes I don’t use any equipment. I also look for excuses to do extra little activities throughout the day: take the stairs but also step wide from side-to-side to get those hipflexors, take short stretch breaks to loosen up or for a posture-reset , sneak in some squats here and there, etc.
