In my bedroom
Anywhere quiet it doesn’t really matter. The places I most often find myself meditating (I have a twice a day transcendental meditation practice) are my bed first thing in the morning and on my couch or in my car during lunchtime.

In my bed at night or on the sofa by the window in the morning
In my room

Since I have a 13 yr old son with autism, who is constantly distracted by electronics, I decided to include him in my nightly evening meditation and gratitude practices. We remove ourselves to my room and sit comfortably on my bed, wrapped in our soft, fuzzy blankets where we stretch, meditate, and swap gratitudes.
On a mountain
I like to meditate wherever I am! I’ve meditated on mountains and just hanging out in a friend’s bedroom. I particularly enjoy being on the ground or as close to the ground as I can get because I love to lay out after completing my meditation.
