When does running get easier!? I’m at 7km in 40 mins and I still want to stop almost every minute of it!
Running can feel challenging at first, but it often becomes easier as your body adapts and your endurance builds. It’s important to focus on consistency and gradually increase your distance or pace. Incorporate rest days and cross-training to prevent burnout. Remember, every runner experiences tough moments, so celebrate your progress and set small, achievable goals. Over time, you’ll find that running becomes a more enjoyable part of your routine. Keep pushing, and you’ll see improvement!
The best way to keep going is to have distractions and don’t constantly keep checking the clock. Block everything out and focus on one thing, maybe hum the beat to your favorite songs and create a Playlist in your head. If you’re on the road focus on your surroundings, the beautiful houses, trees and road markings your come across. Replay memories in your head. Anything and everything that will you keep your mind away from the fact that you’re running or from checking the clock
