When do you think is the best time to stretch to consistently stick to it

The best time to stretch is when it feels most natural for you and fits into your daily routine. Many find morning stretches energizing, while others prefer to stretch after a workout or before bed to promote relaxation. Consistency is key, so choose a time that you can realistically stick to each day. Creating a meaningful daily ritual around your stretching routine will help you develop lasting healthy habits and achieve your wellness goals.

I do a sequence of stretches as part of my morning routine. The sequence is not very strenuous or lengthy so that makes it easy to stick to.

The best time to stretch to be consistent it right when you wake up and right before you sleep. You need to be in the mindset of, ok I’m going to stretch right before I get in bed, and again right after I get out of bed. Also it helps if you have your yoga mat rolled out and ready. And if you’re just starting, I’d recommend just a simple 5-7 minute stretch video to do because a shorter video will help you stay consistent.

I like stretching both morning and night, in the morning while I’m in the sun to help get my body ready for the day, and at night in the dark to release any tension and wind down.

Morning Routine: 1. Drink a full glass of water and take vitamins and morning medication 2. Stretch - Its easy to take a couple of minutes to do a few standing stretches while I’m right there in the kitchen (3. Feed the dog :)

Personally I found it to be first thing in the morning. If I set my yoga outfit next to my bed and put it on straight away, I’m ready. I walk downstairs and turn on the YouTube yoga Playlist I found. They’re all 10-25 minutes and I pick one based on what my body feels like or how much time I have. I do it while my coffee is brewing and get it over with (I actually love it and look forward to it now)

I’ve found it’s easier to be consistent w/stretching (or any new habit I’m working on creating) by combining it with activities I already perform daily (a.k.a. “habit stacking”). So, for example, I stretch when I’m brewing my cup of coffee or when I’m brushing my teeth. It’s not as much about time of day for me, it’s about what will help me remember to do it. Hope this helps!

The best time is probably right when you wake up. And the time that I do it is right after all the kids have gone to school.

For me, the best time to stretch is during my morning routine. It feels good because it works out the kinks from sleeping and it fits the best into my schedule.

When you wake up dont think you will do it for 5 minutes just think one minute or no timer at all ,all you gonna do is move your body

For me, it’s one of the items on my Fabulous morning routine. I don’t manage every day but it’s quite regular that way (just 2 or 3 minutes per day, of a few different, mainly lying down stretches.
