To keep your mind engaged while walking or running, try focusing on your surroundings, such as nature or architecture. You can also practice mindfulness by concentrating on your breath or the rhythm of your movements. Engaging in mental exercises, like counting steps or recalling a favorite memory, can also help. Consider setting small goals for your walk or run, such as reaching a specific landmark, to create a sense of purpose and keep your mind off the exercise itself.

This is a hard question because for me music is what I use, but one other thing you could do is just focus on the nature that you are walking in or running and be observant to your surroundings

Watch a video you enjoy or maybe a series or a movie. I, for example, like to put on a CoryxKenshin video when I walk on the treadmill since he’s my favorite YouTuber. It makes me laugh and takes my mind off the lack of air in my lungs.
