What’s the best post work out foods and activities to recover quickly and keep working out in subsequent days, instead of taking a break due to soreness.

Well, I always try to eat something high in protein and carbohydrates after a workout or a day of heavy physical activity. I also take magnesium to prevent muscle soreness. This helps with recovery and can really make a difference. If I were to choose a meal after a workout, it would be pasta with brown rice, pesto, spinach-egg and shrimp (or chicken). This contains the protein, and carbohydrates your body needs to recover after exercise.
