What would be better to improve my endurance so that I’m able to jog- speed walking on the treadmill or using the elliptical?
To improve your endurance for jogging, both speed walking on the treadmill and using the elliptical can be effective. Speed walking helps build your cardiovascular fitness while mimicking the motion of jogging. The elliptical is low-impact and can enhance your stamina without straining your joints. Consider alternating between both to prevent boredom and work different muscle groups. Gradually increase your intensity and duration to create a meaningful routine that supports your endurance goals.
Elliptical is good if you have bad knees, but it is not a natural movement. The treadmill is going to be more connected to what you’re wanting to build up.
