I do a longer routine in the morning that consists of more habits but keep it simple and just do yoga and meditation at night. First thing and last thing work best for me. If I try to sneak it in it gets over looked and unprioritized for me. As for increasing duration I’ve been following a course on medito that ups it by a minute each time. When I first started meditating it was haarrd and I went back down to a few minutes. I’ve done that back and forth a few times over the years. Nowadays 5 minutes is just too short. I can handle 15 and but anymore is too much for now. Personally I’m normally happy with 10 on the regular. Lowering the bar on hard days.
