What sitting pose or gear do you recommend to avoid numbness in the legs while meditating for long periods?

I normally use a cushion to sit on so my legs are lower than my hips.

I have no good tips for this, but maybe try moving your legs every 5 minutes or so in the middle of your meditation session or try elevating your legs while lying down or sitting
