What should I do if I notice I’m breaking my chain and force myself more and more to get up and exercise? Should I exit the habit so that I have less habits in the morning and then come back when I imprint the other habits good enough?
It’s common to face challenges when establishing a new exercise habit. If you find yourself breaking your chain, consider simplifying your morning routine rather than forcing yourself to exercise. Focus on solidifying your existing habits first. Once those are ingrained, gradually reintroduce your exercise habit. Remember, consistency is key in building lasting healthy habits. Small, manageable steps often lead to greater success in the long run.
I would recommend instead of existing the habit to scale it back time-wise and to try to make it fun whether that’s listening to music or incentivising yourself with a reward when you complete it. I’m believe you can do it
