What kinds of healthy snacks can I eat without spending too much money?

Simple fruits (& some veg) unprocessed and without much fuss work wonders as easy & cheap snacks. Think of what you’d have as a child. An apple, a pear, a carrot, cherries… whatever is in season in your area is usually cheap & available.
