What kind of exercise do you do in the morning when you don’t have time? I get up at 6:20 and am out the door at 7:05, but until about 7:00 I get ready for work (i have a lot of things to do every morning that I don’t think I can change, and I dread getting up earlier since I always get home late). What activity can you do in five minutes? I try walking to work, but it doesn’t feel like enough.
In just five minutes, you can incorporate high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises like jumping jacks, push-ups, or squats. These can elevate your heart rate and boost your energy for the day. Consider a quick routine of 30 seconds of each exercise followed by a 30-second rest. This approach not only fits your tight schedule but also helps create a meaningful morning ritual that sets a positive tone for your day. Remember, consistency is key to developing lasting healthy habits!
I’ve downloaded an app called “seven”, which gives me some body exercises. I do this every morning and it’s only for +- 7 minutes, but a great way to start your day.
