What keeps you motivated to exercise? And also how do you exercise? And if you exercise at home, where do you find the inspiration?

Tommie U.
I often exercise at home, with either the aim to break a sweat or just to fix my posture and release sleeping pains. I’ve got minimal equipment which I like to use such as yoga mat and stretching band. I put on music, my Energise Core playlist, and chose a few reps and movements from a wide selection (i sometimes follow a specific set of exercises using apps or videos) which feel naturally conducive to better posture, increased flexibility, and general well-being in my day to day. Sometimes I do 5-15 minutes in the morning/day, other times I do 10-30 minutes in the evening. So far this flexible routine is working well for me, and since implementing a “single step option” (ie, JUST stretch) means I’ve not missed a single day in the last week.
Kudos. Let’s keep it up. I’ve also found that regularly making time for this small self care act, has allowed me to become more attuned to my own deeply buried needs and desires, the neglected kind, and is giving me the boost of confidence to have a go at ’em. This is self propelled motivation, so I don’t need external reminders. Thank you for asking. It was good to put this into words.
