What is your trick for getting out of bed on the first alarm, in general, and specifically in the case where you are trying to exercise first thing.
A great trick for getting out of bed at the first alarm, especially when planning to exercise, is to create a motivating morning ritual. Place your workout clothes next to your bed the night before, and set a clear intention for your workout. When your alarm goes off, remind yourself of the benefits of exercising and how good it feels afterward. Consider using a gentle wake-up light to simulate sunrise, making it easier to rise. Establishing this routine can help you develop a lasting habit of morning exercise.
I make the first thing I do something easy and something I look forward to. For me, I move to my rocking chair with my heated blanket & my happy light. I read my Bible & do my Duolingo & Lingvano. After that, might journal, check email, or crochet, whatever suits my mood. The point is having a low bar to get me out of bed until the sleep clears. Then I can get up, exercise, head to work, whatever is on my agenda
