The perfect thing to eat for breakfast is something you already have at home that you have prepared the night before to eat. It’s warm and smells and tastes wonderful, and you feel half full (not hungry or stuffed ) when you finish.
Fruit and nuts and maybe some seeds. I always start my day with a bowl of fruits or a smoothie. Because of my chronic illness it is the only thing I’m able to handle. And enough to drink ofcourse.
For me it’s something light but nutritious, like some self-made trail mix or a smoothie. Somethings with fruits and protien but fast to make and eat.
There is no such thing as the perfect breakfast, but try aiming for something high in protein and steady, healthy energy!
I’m a big fan of fruits and nuts. The best is a homemade parfait with some Greek yogurt, maybe some granola and fruit, especially because you can just mix up a big batch and stick it in the fridge if you don’t care about making breakfast pretty. It’s quick, easy and really yummy.
I love smoothies with fruit, yogurt, protein powder, matcha, and some vegetables depending on the flavor I am going for. Also yogurt parfaits or overnight oats. Since I pretty much have to grab and go with breakfast:)
I find scrambled egg and a banana is perfect for me - keeps me going for a good few hours. And add a cup of coffee if course
Some good foods for breakfast are: -Fresh fruit(s) and yogurt w/tea or coffee and water -1 serving hot or cold cereal w/fresh fruit(s)and 2/3 cup milk + coffee or tea and water -Fruit(s), whole grain toast, 1 or 2 eggs boiled, poached or cooked in a nonstick skillet
Food that you love. Eat breakfast like a king. Choose things that you love that will keep you filled up. Fruit. Juice toast. Porridge. Smoothies. My personal favourite is seedy bread or protein bagel. With poached or scrambled egg. Maybe slice of bacon. Cherry tomatoes. Dont rush it enjoy every moment of it. Get up a little earlier and spend time with the family or on your own. Sit outside. Just enjoy it!
Whatever you like! Eggs, cereal, protein smoothie... what’s important is that it’s healthy and you like it, because if you don’t like it, you won’t want it!
