What food and how much do you suggest for breakfast?
For a great breakfast, focus on a balance of protein, healthy fats, and whole grains. A serving of oatmeal topped with nuts and berries, or scrambled eggs with spinach and whole-grain toast are excellent choices. Aim for a portion that leaves you satisfied but not overly full—typically around 300-500 calories, depending on your individual needs. Remember, a nutritious breakfast can set the tone for your day, helping you establish meaningful daily rituals and healthy habits that support your goals.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so it’s important to have a nutritious breakfast to set up to do your best in your day. For my breakfast, I usually like to include carbs to fill me up along with fruit to provide vital vitamins and minerals. I do this by eating cereal with dried fruit in it or by adding my own fruit to plain cereal. Other options include a homemade fruit smoothie or fruit and yoghurt bowl followed by a slice of toast. Including fruit in your breakfast is a great way of increasing your daily fruit consumption. Portion size varies from person to person, but it is important to eat enough food to make you full until your lunch.
I’ve been having 1/3 cup of oatmeal, half a scoop of protein powder, berries or whatever fruit I have on hand, and cinnamon on top
