What exercise is the simplest for you to follow through on?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

The simplest exercise to follow through on is often one that aligns with your interests and fits seamlessly into your daily routine. Walking is a great starting point; it requires no special equipment and can be done almost anywhere. To build a lasting habit, try to incorporate it into your daily rituals, such as walking after meals or during breaks. Consistency is key, so find a time that works for you and stick to it. Remember, the best exercise is the one you enjoy and can maintain over time!

Exercise has always been the greatest challenge for me to follow through. I used to set very unrealistic expectations, I’ve tried joining a gym, runners groups, yoga classes and even ballet lessons at 33 years old. My motivation quickly faded and I stopped going to everything, nothing sticked for more than two weeks. So this time I picked two YouTube videos, one is a very short series of stretches that you can do in bed, the other is a series of just 5 exercises that are more dynamic and functional. The whole workout can be completed in 3-5 minutes so even if it doesn’t feel the same as a whole 45-min workout you can still stick to it, feel refreshed and get the benefits that exercise gives you. A little bit of serotonin and a clear mind.
