What does exercise do to your health and what will happen if we don’t exercise

Exercise has been very beneficial for my health. It helps me connect with my body especially when I have those days when I feel emotionally dysregulated or have hormonal fluctuations. It really keeps me in check and grounds me. However, too much exercise can be counterproductive so I’d like to balance it with relaxation-based exercises including tai-chi, yoga, meditation, pilates, walking, etc. Overall, exercise is useful for me because it shifts my energy states (negative to positive) and helps me feeling me again.
