One main dish: 1. High protein waffles with peanut butter. 2. Egg sandwich consisting of one fried egg on avocado toast using higher-fiber, whole- or sprouted-grain bread. I add lemon-pepper seasoning. 3. Apple chicken sausage sandwich using higher-fiber, whole- or sprouted-grain bread.
One or more side dishes: 1. Fresh fruit — I like raspberries and blueberries. 2. Plain Greek yogurt with peanut butter powder and some sweetener. 3. Canned, low-sodium black beans. Heated up in a dish in the microwave.
