To stay focused while cleaning without the necessary tools, create a distraction-free environment. Start by setting a timer for a short, dedicated cleaning session, and prioritize tasks that require minimal tools. Break down the cleaning process into manageable steps and focus on one area at a time. Establish a routine that includes tidying up regularly, which can help you build momentum and reduce distractions. Remember, meaningful daily rituals can make cleaning feel less overwhelming and more achievable.

I’d count down from three to one and once I’d get to one, I’d focus my energy on getting something else clean. If we don’t have the tools at the moment we cannot control it so we should focus our energy on another part of the cleaning process and get the tools later once we’re finished with what we can control
