What do you do if you’re not hungry in the morning?

Well at first, I wasn’t hungry in the morning because I wasn’t used to eating breakfast at all. I started with small portions (like only an apple or a yogurt) and very quickly my body knew to except breakfast and became hungry. Now I eat granola with: yogurt, apple, dried cranberries, chia seeds and a date. Ohh and a cup of coffee and lots of water.

I drink a protein shake (when protein without artificial sweeteners or such mixed with cold water) regardless if I feel hungry or not.

I don’t care for breakfast food much and am not hungry in the morning but I make a protein shake or smoothie and drink it. That way I’m not skipping it all together. I use diet mixes with milk or water they have vitamins and minerals like meal replacements.

Well I have had those mornings when I’m not hungry but the best choice is to force yourself to eat because if you don’t eat in the morning it could lead to bad consequences such grumpy all day, hungry all day, and you may not even feel well. There’s your answer hope it helps!

I eat something that's not very filling like a peice of fruit, some yogurt, or a small protein shake that's light on sugar. Also, I always have healthy snacks on hand, so if I'm not ready to eat at 7am, I'll have something to munch on at 10am.

If you’re not hungry in the morning it’s usually just your body fooling you, you’re too tired or you have got a bad habit. It’s important to eat breakfast everyday, if you don’t then the day will go slower. You’ll easier be annoyed and get a headeach. So I try to eat everyday, even if I’m not hunger, even if I feel like there’s nothing to eat.

I try to eat or drink just something, like a protein shake or recently I’ve tried amazing grass protein glow. If you don’t like that sort of thing, even just a few bites of something really easy to eat has helped just try to kickstart the day with something

Just to maintain the habit, you have to make sure that you are tricking you brain. Don't eat too much but you can have atlest one fruit or dry fruits to make sure you had something in the morning.

I'm rarely hungry in early am, but I also know eating something is essential to the rest of my day. EAT LIGHT! I eat oatmeal, fruit, yogart, nuts, wheat toast and usually range 150-200 calories. I have coffee with coffeemate creamer which is included in those calories. JUST DO IT!

I never really had this issue but sometimes if I have heavy dinner then next morning I don’t feel very hungry. So I would say eating early dinner and no snacks before bed might help.

This is a tough question for me because I have always enjoyed breakfast. I always prepare myself to have a complete healthy breakfast. I do have a couple of advices. The first one is to have an early and small dinner. The second one is to leave things prepare for the morning. Think of easy meals or leave some steps ready. The third one is go for something you enjoy, this way you are more willing to create the habit. One last advice is to wake up a bit earlier than normal to allow time to have a nice breakfast. I know most people prefer to sleep 5 more minutes, but I guarantee that a proper breakfast can provide you with more energy for your day than those 5 more minutes of sleep.

This will normally happen if you're eating too late at night. However, if this is not the case, start eating small snacks and you will soon get hungry in the morning. It may just be a habit you've developed. Normally if I wake up tired I know my body needs food. It just makes sense that after 8 hours your body will need food0.and from articles I read it is usually protein. Keep this in mind the next time you don't feel hungry.

Usually I have no problems with eating in the morning, but if I feel like food can't get into me, I found out a solution for myself. I make my breakfast and take it with me to my work. If I don't want to eat at 8 in the morning, it doesn't mean that I won't be hungry in an hour. So instead of eating sweets when I start to feel hungry I just take out my breakfast 🙂

Drink a glass of cold water with a squeeze of lemon. Try small bites. Like a half of a banana or Apple. Toast with jelly (no butter). Introduce small bites to jump start your appetite. Your metabolism will thank you later!

Drink water anyway. Your body will thank you for it. And pack a granola bar or something light as a snack. If you ate a late dinner you might not be hungry first thing in the morning, but if you are like me the hunger will hit you out of nowhere.

I would make sure I’ve had some water and if I didn’t feel hungry I would prep something for when I do. I am trying to listen to my body and if I am not hungry I won’t force myself to eat. Make a veggie smoothie even, something light but nutritious

It's often healthy when one delays eating right when your digestion system wakes up.

If you research the term "intermittent fasting" you'll find something that fits your hunger's behavior and benefit your body.

I do 16/8 IF.

It's all in listening to your body, don't force what you don't feel.

I will drink alot of water and do some dancing. Drink water allow my intestine to move which allow me to “do my business in the toilet”. Having an empty stomach make you more hungry. Plus a little dancing to burn my energy away which make me more hungry in the morning!!.

When I'm not hungry that probably means it is too early. It happens often when I have to wake up at 6am. My body is not ready to get food. So I am ok with that and postpone my breakfast for later. I think it is good to respect your body in this cases.

I used to just not eat. But now I want to try to always have something in the dorm that I can eat before getting started with my school work. I think I would write a lot better if I did. From now on, I plan to go to giant eagle to buy yogurt. I will get low fat and low sugar and also buy some granola. I think I can throw in some of my peanuts too (or peanut butter). That's what I'll do.
