If going to the gym is not an option or too stressful, doing simple stretches or yoga along with breathing exercises are perfect- especially in the morning. The stretching allows you to get your blood flowing and your body moving while being able to tailor it to your needs. It doesn’t matter what level you are. You can find and alter stretches and poses so they’re comfortably challenging without stress. Mixing in mindful breathing along with the movement helps aid the body and the mind to relax and coexist in harmony.
