What are the best stretch routines that would help me be more mobile in my old age and athletic in my young age

To enhance mobility in older age and maintain athleticism in youth, consider incorporating dynamic stretches like leg swings and arm circles into your warm-up, and static stretches like hamstring stretches and shoulder stretches into your cool-down. Aim for a routine that targets major muscle groups, focusing on flexibility and range of motion. Consistency is key; practice these stretches daily to build lasting habits that promote mobility and athletic performance throughout your life.

yoga and calisthenics! both are geared towards flexibility/mobility rather than strength training, but if done consistently, they come with their own kind of strength that is better for joint health and durability. great for toning a young body and making sure that strength lasts into later years.

Hey! Thanks for the question! I started with shoulder rolling, arm circles, ankle circles and the cat pose. For the athletic part you can try different sports or try push ups, planking, squats and other exercises. I started with those and now I skate everyday! It helps to do these exercises everyday 10 minutes or so. You can do it!
