What are some good stretches for your quads after doing lunges?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

After doing lunges, it’s important to stretch your quads to maintain flexibility and prevent tightness. Some effective stretches include the standing quad stretch, where you pull your heel towards your glutes while standing, and the kneeling quad stretch, where you kneel on one knee and push your hips forward. Hold each stretch for 20-30 seconds, focusing on your breathing. Incorporating these stretches into your routine will help promote lasting healthy habits and enhance your overall exercise experience.

like after most workouts, it’s usually better to do static stretches rather than dynamic stretches as your muscles are going to need to cool down. Static stretches means stretches that you don’t necessarily move, such as child’s pose or downward dog. On the contrary, dynamic stretches are moving stretches that help warm your muscles up, like hip openers or leg abductors! So, to answer your question, you should look into some static stretches. After my leg days, I usually like to do downward dog and runners stretch. You can also look into using a small foam roller as well to massage / stretch your muscles too!
