What advice can you offer to me to get excited about exercise if I don’t have an accountability partner and I have very little time for myself. I am just so tired at the end of the day and the mornings are very hectic.
To get excited about exercise without an accountability partner, start by carving out just 10-15 minutes a day for movement that you enjoy. Consider morning stretches or a quick walk during lunch. Create a ritual by pairing exercise with something you love, like listening to your favorite music or podcast. Remember, consistency is key; even short bursts of activity can boost your energy and mood. Focus on how good you feel afterward to build motivation, and gradually increase your time as it becomes a habit.
Try exercising for 10 minutes before you go to bed or wake up 10 minutes early. Then start seeing that as a small win everyday and feel proud of yourself for exercising even though you didn’t want to. You can also treat yourself with anything you want ex: food, items, relaxing, etc.
