This is a question about nutrition. If you practice Intermittent Fasting, how do you eat a good breakfast?

Suelen Q.
My mother practices Intermittent Fasting, she goes to bed at 9pm and breaks her fast 12 hours after that (9am) she eats a light snack at 8pm before she goes to bed, avocado toast, yogurt, vegan pancakes, anything to make her full before the 12 hours. During the day, when her fast breaks, she eats. She’s a teacher so she has to pack her breakfast and that breakfast is usually a little bigger than the 8pm snack, salmon and eggs, egg whites with veggies, avocado toast with salmon. You can still engage in intermittent fasting and have breakfast, you have to!

From research (and a reliable source), intermittent fasting is not exactly a diet. It’s actually an eating pattern. So it’s not should or shouldn’t eat foods, it’s when you eat them.

I don’t know much about intermittent fasting, but I will try to answer the question the best I can. I would suggest eating a high protein meal the night before. I know there are different types of intermittent fasting, so I can’t fully answer the question. But making sure you have a high protein diet is usually enough to sustain people for a couple hours. Hope this helps a little.
