Sometimes I can’t find a way to start on cleaning. It feels impossible.
Feeling overwhelmed by cleaning is common, but starting small can make a big difference. Try breaking the task into manageable chunks, such as setting a timer for just 10 minutes to tidy one area. Creating a daily ritual around cleaning can help build this habit. For instance, you could dedicate a few minutes each morning to declutter your space. Remember, the key is consistency and making cleaning a part of your routine, which will eventually make it feel less impossible.
Imagine how good this will feel after it’s done asap. Less stress for the day ahead and you feel that you accomplished a task your family would be proud of if they come home. It’s easier to exercise and be in a clean space
Imagine working or resting in the space once it is all clean and tidy and noticing how much more peaceful you feel and how much less it feels like there’s something left undone...
I used to feel similar. It’s just to heavy to even think about cleaning some days and the best we can do is to skip it. So let’s start on tiny things... One at a time... Like decide to keep something tiny at its own place... Maybe a pen in its penstand. Try it for 3 days then add another to it. I bet by end of the week u will be so happy that u could keep the pen at its own place everyday. Celebrate that win. It will change everything!!! Next start keeping things at its own place forcing yourself for few days at first until it becomes a habit and u can do nothing otherwise.
I get that. Same here. There is so much to inendated our thoughts, it’s overwhelming. Save a specific time for it. Make cleaning your peace instead of a burden. Observe your thoughts and cherry yourself on, especially when you don’t want to do it.
