Is there a protein that’s inexpensive and good apart from eggs and nuts that I’m just not thinking of?

Tofu is pretty good! Takes on the taste of however you season it, I’ve found it for $2. You can also try canned fish like tuna or sardines, greek yogurt, frozen edamame/green peas, hummus, chickpeas, and canned beans/lentils. 1 cup of chickpeas is around 45 grams of carb, 12 grams of fiber, & 15 grams of protein.
