Absolutely, stretching is a valuable form of exercise! It enhances flexibility, reduces tension, and promotes relaxation. While more intense workouts can be beneficial, it’s essential to listen to your body and incorporate what feels right for you. If stretching fits your routine and helps you feel good, it can certainly contribute to your overall health and well-being. Remember, the key is consistency and finding enjoyable activities that help you develop lasting healthy habits.

I would probably try a 5 minute run or jumping jacks, something that can get your heart raising and then stretch. Stretching has its benefits too but it won’t get your heart pumping which is what’ll bring benefits in the long run.

Yesss stretch! You are more likely to continue doing something you like over doing what you think you’re supposed to be doing. And who knows, stretching might turn into yoga which might turn into something even more strenuous one of these days. But for now, stretching is totally fine.
