Is it allowed to eat Nutella and peanut butter on my bread or does that not count as a good breakfast?
Eating Nutella and peanut butter on your bread can be part of a balanced breakfast, but moderation is key. Nutella is high in sugar, while peanut butter provides healthy fats and protein. To make it a more nutritious meal, consider adding whole-grain bread and some fruit, like banana slices or berries. This way, you can enjoy your spread while also fueling your body with essential nutrients. Remember, a great breakfast should support your overall health and help you build lasting healthy habits.
Peanut butter is an awesome protein to incorporate into your breakfast, and bread (hopefully multigrain if possible!) is a great carb to build on. Nutella could be substituted for something healthier. Nutella has what is considered “empty calories”, where there aren’t enough grams of protein, fiber, or vitamins to sustain you throughout the morning or to tide you over in hunger until lunch. I would recommend adding fresh fruit on top of your peanut butter, like bananas, berries, or anything you can find!
