Is eating breakfast, at the beginning of your day really necessary? I’ve heard from so many people and read so many articles about how overrated the traditional concept of breakfast, being between the hour you wake up and before noon, is.

Breakfast isn’t exactly necessary, but it is beneficial! After not eating for the entire night, your body could really use some nutrition to boost concentration and replenish energy.

If you’re not hungry in the morning or don’t feel like eating (like me), try eating a nutrient-rich dinner and/or a nutrient-light breakfast. In the morning, I often just grab a protein bar or something, because it’s quick and easy. My rule is, as long as I eat SOMETHING before starting my day, I call it good.

Personally, I think breakfast is important. But I would recommend doing research on the other side of the scale, too. Read some articles that say why breakfast IS necessary or beneficial. Look up the pros and cons of eating breakfast. Study at both sides of the debate from every angle you can, and notice how eating or not eating breakfast affects YOU throughout your day.
