If you’re a runner, do you run everyday? Or do you have a set schedule of which days you will run?
As a runner, it’s essential to find a balance that suits your body and goals. Running every day can lead to burnout or injury, so consider a set schedule that includes rest days and cross-training. Aim for consistency by creating a routine that incorporates running on specific days, allowing for recovery while building endurance. Listen to your body and adjust your plan as needed to develop lasting healthy habits and achieve your running goals.
Set schedule. However, it’s important to have flexibility in your set schedule as well as a "minimum" number of runs per week. For instance, you can say you’re going to run on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but you need to do at least two runs for the week. So if something happens on Monday and you aren’t able to run, you can either shift that run, or be okay with the two remaining runs you have.
