If I don’t eat a ton of carbs, what’s the best way to get good fiber at breakfast?

Grzegorz X.
Vegetables are full of fiber, especially green leafy ones, carrots, broccoli. Consider a tofu scramble with veggies! Beans have a ton of fiber as well. Fruits such as bananas and oranges are full of fiber too. Eat some bananas or apples with peanut butter. Bean and potato tacos with lettuce or other leafy veggie as the tortilla. Sweet potatoes are delicious for breakfast mixed with almond mil, cinnamon, maple syrup and pecans. All plant based foods are full of fiber!

Leafy greens are a good source of fiber without the carbs. Mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens, are all full of fiber and a good way to start your day off right with veggies

Fruits and vegetables are technically carbs, and they pack a ton of fiber. Do a little Google search of the most fibrous ones and incorporate them. But be careful not to overdo it. If you don't eat much fiber now, start slow, as adding too much all of a sudden will make you bloated. Make sure you add a bit more each week. Good luck!

Vegetables have more fiber than breads by far! I like spinach in my eggs, Brussels sprouts, zucchini etc in egg casserole that I make ahead & freeze for easy low-carb breakfast!

You could do a chia seed pudding, two tablespoons of chia seeds equals 11 grams of fiber. In addition, try an omelette with broccoli, cauliflower, &/or spinach added and top with a few avocado slices. All those veggies are high in fiber and low in carbs. Plus it's super tasty & will fill you up!

Nothing wrong with complex carbs in moderation. I regularly do oatmeal and fruit with no added sugar, as well as fruit. Lost 20 pounds in the last two months and am in great shape now. Using Noom to help with this.

Oh, i don't know a lot about food, macros, fibers and things about that, so you should also google it or ask some who knows for sure. But, if i can remember correctly, I think tha you can a lot of fibers from fruits and vegetables. Make sure that it's true first and then if it is try to eat more of them at your breakfast. I good option is omelet with veggies or a smoothie.

Oat bran ( can mix it with yogurt, milk or apple sauce) with flax seeds and chia seeds. Also, oatmeal or wheat bran is a good temp substitute.

If I feel like I’m in need of carbs on a particular morning, I’ll cook some steel cut oats for oatmeal. Just ⅓-½ cup goes a long way.
Another choice is to combine carbs with protein by making French toast from a slice of Dave’s Raisin bread soaked in beaten egg + ½ n ½, then cook on stovetop or in air fryer (not too high

Nuts are a great replacement. You can also eat green vegetables or an egg to feel full so basically replace your carbs by proteins

Stick to low glycemic foods. Try to add peanut butter for some protein which will also help keep you full longer. The fiber from the Apple helps as well.
