I’d like to throw out our junk food to avoid temptation — or at least hide it away somewhere. But my wife likes to keep it out on the kitchen table and counter. How can we both eat healthy?
It’s great that you want to create a healthier environment! Communication is key. Discuss the importance of a healthy breakfast and how reducing junk food can support both your goals. Consider a compromise: designate a specific area for healthy snacks and limit junk food visibility. You can also involve your wife in meal planning, focusing on nutritious breakfast options that you both enjoy. By working together, you can establish a kitchen environment that promotes healthy eating habits and supports your shared goals.
I feel that there is always compromise in a healthy relationship, on both sides. If there is to be junk food in the house....keeping it locked in a cupboard may work. Also, finding a healthy, yet tasteful, alternative would be best.
