I want to study when I get home but find myself distracted by the TV or by the clutter in my room. How do I focus myself?

have an existential crisis on how im wasting my time on the tv when i could be doing something else thats productive or something that could give my life and time purpose but i refuse to because i mindlessly indulge myself in false illusions of happiness triggered by the media on the tv

Maybe you can do your studying first then decluttering your room then watch tv 📺 that always helps me to Declutter stuff before I watch 📺

Make it as difficult as possible to use the TV and maybe spend 15 sorting some of the clutter every day, then you will feel better about it.

Try putting your remote out of sight and disconnecting your tv the extra seconds to use the tv will make you question if you should really do it. If your own room is too distracting or to cluttered try finding a new space that is just for work. If this can’t be done instead of trying to use the whole room take a space and commit to only using it for work and each time you’re finished, clean it. That way the next time you used it’ll be clean and ready for you to use
