I love apples sliced and coated with cinnamon and honey and then add your favorite almond butter or peanut butter on top! Also, avocado toast!
I’ve been making smoothies recently. I got a blender with a cup attachment, and in that I mix one cup of almond milk, two tablespoons of peanut butter, a handful of spinach leaves (you don’t even taste it), one frozen banana, two ice cubes, and a scoop of protein powder (vanilla and chocolate both work well). It takes about 5 minutes to throw together and blend, then I just swap the blender blade for the cup lid, give the blade a quick rinse, and out the door I go.
Anything with peanut butter or nuts. Eggs, sausage, and bread works well and can be cooked in 10 min. Smoothies with bannanas.
An apple a day keeps a doctor away (eat an apple every morning)
I tend to favor eggs for a fast and dairy free breakfast. They don’t take half as long to make as you think they will, and they fuel the body with a very complete set of fats and protein to sustain you throughout the day. Pair with toast for a quick sandwich on the go.
I like to eat these: chia seed pudding, overnight oats, peanut butter toast, scrambled eggs (or tofu if you’re vegan), granola with soy yoghurt. Nuts are great addition.
Whole raw almonds have a good amount of protein, no dairy of course, and are as easy as grabbing a handful! However, they do tend to be on the expensive side.
Hard boiled eggs can be great since you can cook a lot ahead of time and then just grab them on your way out the door. I like mine with soy sauce and maybe a package of seaweed :)
