I have difficulty keeping my legs straight (knees always bend) due to some tendon ligament issues. I’ve been told I can maybe stretch “out of it”, but its very painful. Any tricks so I can become more limber without pain?

If you do smaller easier stretches first and slowly move into them you might get more and more limber, if a stretch hurts try to work up to it.

You can do stretches that help you increase flexibility, however, that do not force you so much and gradually increase the intensity, without causing or just with a slight pain. I hope I helped, good luck.
