I feel a little embarrassed to exercise in front of other people. Sometimes I even use it as an excuse to not exercise at all. How should I deal with that?

I used to struggle with this too! I started doing home workouts and tried to build my confidence with working out and exercising. Once I started going to the gym, I brought a friend so I felt more comfortable and supported. I was able to start working out in front of people when I realized that others were there for their own personal benefit, and everyone starts somewhere. We all have the same goal, and that’s to better ourselves in some way. Personally, once I started going to the gym, I felt more obligated to complete my workout because I felt that it would look odd if I didn’t workout. I don’t know if that’s helpful to you, but it definitely helped me! I still struggle with this, but I remind myself that no one really cares what I am doing, as long as I’m not in their way.
