How often to vacuum bedroom carpets? 1x a week?
Vacuuming bedroom carpets once a week is a great starting point for maintaining a clean and tidy environment. However, the frequency can depend on factors like foot traffic, pets, and allergies. If your bedroom gets a lot of use or you have pets, consider vacuuming more frequently, perhaps every 3-4 days. Establishing a routine that includes regular cleaning will help you develop lasting healthy habits and contribute to a peaceful, organized space that supports your overall well-being.
I try to do one big thorough vacuum (taking about a hour — including rearranging furniture)once a week, since I’ve got cat who I’m allergic to and who shouldn’t be consuming my own hair as well. I also try and vacuum two addition times during the week (sometimes just as needed) for around 5-10 minutes just to maintain a clean space.
I would ideally like to hoover my bedroom a couple of times a week but my hoover is currently broken. I like to sweep and then mop a couple of times a week
Well in general, if the floor is clean, the carpets won’t get too dirty, so 1x a week sounds about right, and if I’m feeling extra, i vacuum them twice a week.
