How much should one eat, for it to be considered a decent breakfast?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

A decent breakfast should be balanced and satisfying, typically including a mix of protein, healthy fats, and carbohydrates. Aim for a portion that keeps you energized until your next meal. For most, this might be around 300-500 calories, but individual needs vary based on activity level and personal health goals. Focus on whole foods like eggs, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to create a nutritious start to your day. Establishing this morning ritual can set a positive tone for the rest of your day.

I try to at least get a balance of protein, healthy carbs, and a fruit or vegetable while mindfully eating. This doesn’t mean 30 grams of protein if I’m not super hungry. I don’t like to force an amount of food. Breakfast some days could be whole grain toast with peanut butter and banana. Oh, and always coffee. I like the ritual of making it in my stovetop espresso maker.
