How does one prevent possible slippage or relapse into a bad habit?

Plenty of affirmations. I have failed plenty of times and the one thing I can say I have learned is that I always put myself down when I failed which made me just quit. But I am now starting to learn that failure is not an option, it’s a lesson. A lesson that teaches me what not to do again, and what to do better or in a different way next time. Keep a positive attitude because there’s no right or wrong way to do this journey, there’s just the way that’s the best for you!

to not relapse into old habits you need to relish the way your life is with those habits and think about if you really want to fall back into your old, less appealing habits that may make your life seem worse.
