How does one begin to build core strength when they haven’t even enough to do one sit-up?
Building core strength starts with understanding your body and progressing at your own pace. If you can’t do a sit-up yet, begin with gentle exercises like pelvic tilts, bridges, or seated leg lifts. Focus on engaging your core throughout the day, such as maintaining good posture. Gradually increase the difficulty by incorporating modified exercises. Consistency is key, so aim for short, daily routines that fit into your schedule. Celebrate small victories to stay motivated on your journey to core strength!
Start by walking. Get good supportive shoes. Build up the distance daily. Think about your form. Walk tall, shoulders back etc. Enjoy being out and about. Take the time to listen to a podcast or music if you like. Walk briskly. Get your heart going.
