How do you view eating the same every morning? Are rutines more important than variation?

I think routine helps make it more second nature, more simple, and in turn you don’t overthink it. You can easily prep what you are having every am. If you can add variety in a simple way that’s great, like if you have yogurt with fruit, and switch which fruit or yogurt flavor, then you can add in some variety without overcomplicating things. But if you try to change what you eat every morning, like eggs and bacon, waffle, yogurt and fruit, you might get decision fatigue and scrap the whole breakfast thing instead.

I view eating the same every morning as another opportunity to rest and rescale because of the wellness that comes from having a routine that one can follow each and every day. However the more important thing for me every morning when I do eat is the variation, not only because of the fact that a variety does allow one to see a different change every day but it also allows one mentally to explore and adapt to change and adjust accordingly to their preferences.
