How do you stop subconsciously feeling like exercise time is time stolen from work or studies?

L O W.
I totally get where you’re coming from. I’ve felt the same way when I began incorporating exercise into my daily routine.
I don’t know what situation you’re in, the way I see it has 2 possibilities.
You might be spending a lot of time incorporating a lot of different kinds of exercises everyday. Unless you’re preparing for an event like a marathon, a hike, etc. you won’t need to spend more than an hour everyday actively exercising. You can build a routine of different exercises done on different days of the week to have a well rounded approach.
The other possibility is that you might be starting off on your fitness journey and exercise isn’t seen as a priority yet. If that’s the shift in subconscious patterns you’re looking for, maybe you can reflect on why exercise doesn’t feel so important yet. Addressing the cause of the discomfort will help you find motivation and the peace of mind knowing that exercise is not stealing your time. The time you spend exercising improves your energy levels and increases your productivity. You can get work done faster or get more things done in time. Linking exercise to improved productivity can also help you value the time you spend doing your workouts everyday.
Hope this helps,
Wishing you the best of luck!

You could think of it as giving more time to work or study. By doing exercise, you will feel more alive and ready to tackle work or study. Exercise can be a great boost to your productivity!
